SUMMARY:The Fugitives
DESCRIPTION:“Despite their all-acoustic lineup\, the Fugitives bring enough energy to the stage to light up a small city……The East Van quartet conjures up a sound that’s like the missing link between Leonard Cohen\, the Pogues\, and the immortal Shorty Shitstain.” \n— Georgia Straight \nThe Fugitives perform as a dynamic modern folk quartet\, with 4-part harmony and a variety of instruments (guitar\, bass\, kick-drum\, banjo\, violin\, balalaika and harmonica). We jump from foot-stomping sing-alongs to show-stopping a capella ballads to insightful political and storytelling songs. We’re also known to bring down the house with our repartee and banter. The Georgia Straight writes\, “Despite their all-acoustic lineup\, the Fugitives bring enough energy to the stage to light up a small city… The East Vancouver quartet conjures up a sound that’s like the missing link between Leonard Cohen and the Pogues”; AmericanaUK says\,“This is classic songwriting with a conscience”; and the CBC writes\, “This show is simply brilliant”.\n \nThe Fugitives EPK

SUMMARY:Remi Harris and Roger Keenan
DESCRIPTION:An evening of Delta Blues.\nWith Remi Harris and Roger Keenan. \nJoin two fine blues musicians and enjoy an evening listening to the sounds and tales of the Mississippi. The simple sound of acoustic guitar and vocal brings the Delta to life\, celebrating the power and energy of the bluesmen who created the musical legend. The early raw style with just traditional guitar and vocal formed the foundation of modern blues music. The music weaves a story of hopes and dreams\, hardship and poverty through soulful and passionate emotions\, along with tales bringing those times and people to life.

The record spent multiple weeks in the\nCountry Music Charts nestled between Beyoncé and Taylor Swift\, but it was\nbreaking into the top 10 of both the Independent Album Chart and the Record\nStore Chart that truly marked a milestone. Critics praised Vincent beyond genre\nconfines\, with Americana UK noting he is “now recognised as one of the UK’s\nbest songwriters irrespective of genre\,” and Rocking Magpie declaring he has\n“transcended that [Americana] genre.” In early 2025\, Vincent was announced as the winner of UK Song of the Year at the UK Americana Music Association Awards for his track Follow What You Love & Love Will Follow\, alongside a coveted nomination for UK Artist of the Year. Known for his powerful\, soulful voice\, Vincent has earned praise from key supporters including Bob Harris OBE (BBC Radio 2)\, who said\, “The moment he started to sing I knew that this was something special.” In 2016\, Harris also named him Emerging Artist of the Year\, describing him as “absolutely magnetic” and “the real deal.” Vincent has toured extensively across the UK\, both solo and with his band. In September 2024\, he performed an official showcase at AmericanaFest in Nashville\, and later that year\, he was invited by Robert Plant and Saving Grace to open shows in Antwerp\, Paris\, and across the UK. His third album\, In This Town You’re Owned (2020)\, produced by Ethan Johns\, won AMAUK’s Album of the Year in 2021\, with Vincent also taking Artist of the Year. The album charted at number 2 in the UK Americana Charts and was named one of American Songwriter Magazine’s top 20 albums of the year across all genres. Earlier\, in 2018\, following the release of I’ll Make The Most Of My Sins (AMAUK Album of the Year)\, Vincent performed on the BBC’s Old Grey Whistle Test: For One Night Only\, closing the show—a performance that propelled him to the top of the iTunes Album and Singles Charts. Vincent continues to captivate audiences\, whether performing solo or with a full band. Past highlights include performances at Celtic Connections (with Mary Chapin Carpenter)\, AmericanaFest in Nashville\, supporting Roger Waters at Hyde Park\, and touring with Robert Plant\, Paul Carrack\, and Duane Eddy—who gifted Vincent one of his signature Gretsch guitars at his 80th birthday celebration at the London Palladium. Do not miss the chance to see one of the UK’s finest songwriters an in the intimate Hermon Chapel this October.
