Vocal Workshop with Sara Colman and Rebecca Nash

Sara Colman and Rebecca Nash are both very experienced educators and they will be hosting a vocal group workshop during the Saturday afternoon (24th October) before performing at Hermon Chapel in the evening. This is for group participation and will involve learning two songs with harmony by ear (3 parts at least!) These will lean very heavily towards jazz and on the journey to learning these songs, you will get to experience some of the jazz fundamentals including finding the best way to engage with the specific rhythmic nuances of swing and some Latin feels too!

This will be fun and low pressure although you will be invited to improvise for short passages (8 bars) if you fancy having a go….with guidance and encouragement…..and a no judgement environment!
