Blue Lantern Sessions
After two years of sold-out shows at Storyhouse, Chester, The Blue Lantern Sessions are delighted to be bringing their acclaimed live music series to the beautiful Hermon Chapel in Oswestry.
Lovingly curated and hosted by Igloo Hearts, featured on Y Llais (S4C) and The Piano (Channel 4), the sessions have built a reputation for presenting some of the finest artists from the UK folk, Americana, roots and acoustic scene in an intimate, Jools Holland-inspired setting.
More than just concerts, these are evenings that celebrate the magic of live music: beautiful songs, captivating stories, laughter, tears and unforgettable performances shared between artists and audience in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Over the past two years, a loyal community of music lovers and musicians has grown around the sessions, with audiences returning month after month to discover incredible artists and experience something truly special.
Now, that same spirit is coming to Oswestry.
Whether you’re joining us for the first time or travelling from Chester, expect exceptional live music, beautifully presented in one of the region’s most special venues.
Come and be part of the Blue Lantern community — great music, shared moments and genuine connection.

Robert Vincent

A voice that stops you in your tracks. Songs that stay with you long after.
Liverpool singer-songwriter Robert Vincent is one of the UK’s most celebrated Americana and roots artists.
His fourth studio album, Barriers, released in 2024 to widespread critical acclaim, reaching the Top 10 of both the Independent Album Chart and Record Store Chart.
In 2025, Vincent won UK Song of the Year at the UK Americana Music Association Awards for Follow What You Love & Love Will Follow, following previous wins for Album of the Year and Artist of the Year.
A favourite of Bob Harris OBE, who described him as “absolutely magnetic” and “the real deal”, Vincent has shared stages with Robert Plant, Paul Carrack, Roger Waters and Duane Eddy, as well as performing at AmericanaFest in Nashville and Celtic Connections.
His 2020 album In This Town You’re Owned, produced by Ethan Johns, won AMAUK Album of the Year, while his earlier release I’ll Make The Most Of My Sins also took the award in 2018.
With his powerful, soulful voice and extraordinary songwriting, Robert Vincent is an artist who can command a room with nothing more than his voice, guitar and a great song.
Don’t miss the chance to experience one of the UK’s finest songwriters in the intimate surroundings of Hermon Chapel this October.
