Beth Prior Collective

Beth Prior Collective — Acoustic Trio

This December, Beth Prior Collective hit the road in a special stripped back trio formation,
taking all the flavour of BPC’s distinctive liquid dub sound and seeing what three musicians
can do with just guitars, voices and double bass.

Featuring Beth Prior on vocals and guitar, her long-time musical partner jazz guitarist Will Barnes and acclaimed jazz bassist Aidan Thorne on double bass, the trio will be breathing new life into their back catalogue, exploring wonderfully different incarnations of familiar songs. With Prior’s lyrical storytelling at the heart of the music, expect an eclectic mix of reggae, soul, jazz and dub, as these three musicians invite you to share an evening of music, stories and spontaneous musical exploration.

From their roots in the vibrant grassroots music culture of the Welsh Borders to stages at
Green Man, Boomtown, Nozstock and BBC Introducing at Latitude, BPC have built a fiercely
loyal following through their genre-blurring sound and captivating live performances. Having also supported reggae legends The Wailers, the collective now returns with previously unreleased music from the archives and a new album set for release in 2027 on House on the Hill Records.
